Default Newborn puppies!!

I visited my aunt's house yesterday.

They have 3 dogs, a male shar-pei a male schnauzer and a female mix (her father is a pug and her mother is a mutt) but she resembles a bit a border terrier she's wire haired.

The mix became pregnant by opss they belived she had a false pregnacy but she did got pregnant.

They don't know yet if the father of the litter is the shar-pei or the schnauzer or both. >->

Sigh, anyways when I went to visit yesterday they showed me the puppies.

They are cute like all the puppies are, but I wish they could be more careful with intanct dogs.

The puppies have 9 days in the pics and they are 8 in total, you can also see that some of them have dewclaws in the back legs... here are the pics!!

Goes without saying that it's unfortunate that there's another oops litter of mixed breed puppies.

However, it's not your fault, and they ARE very cute. I do hope they work hard to find all the pups good homes.

Ditto, and also hope the spay the mom ASAP, especially since they have 2 intact males in the home.

They ARE adorable though, nothing sweeter than tiny pups..........I can almost smell that wonderful puppeh breath!

They look like burnt taters! Very cute--but I echo the sentiments that mom needs to be spayed ASAP (if they can't afford it, there IS help out there) and puppies need to go on spay/neuter contracts.

Yeap, so cute!!

About the spaying, I wish they could do it, but knowing my aunt and cousins sadly I don't think they are going to spay her.

I have tried to talk with them about spaying before, and to be more careful with intanct dogs.

My older cousin is married and lives in another house, she has the 2 grand- parents of this liter.

The grandpa (the pug) has only one testicle and I have tried to talk that is better if gets spayed also the gradma (the mut)

But they don't want to lisen , mostly when the vets on here say that a dog is going to catch cancer or get sick if is not bred.

Yesterday I told them to think on at least give the mom shots, but I'm not compleatly sure that they are going to give them.

For them is not about money, but is beacause they don't want to do it :/

Regarding the grandpa - Actually, cancer due to a retained testicle is common. It would be wise to neuter him for his health!! As far as the mom, and considering where you are (and the mindset of the vets there), you may not have much say in the matter. You do what you can, and then hope for the best otherwise!
