Default Dogs in NW Iowa Obscene Amounts of Snow

Here are a few videos showing just how deep it has gotten here so far in NW Iowa. And, we are expecting probably another 8 to 12 inches or more! Harry the Malinois is enjoying the snow more than Grant the AmStaf.

Keep in mind that Harry is a good 25 inches at the shoulder.

LOL, you would probably do better than us. That's the problem. I bought a high caliber working dog in my single days, then got married, moved to the middle of nowhere, and had a baby. Now he's unemployed and a total pest. Good thing I love him!

HA!! Life kinda got the better of me too and both my malis are also unemployed...yup, total PITAs. But it definitely helps to have two of them. They wear each other out nicely. Apparently Grant just isn't doing his job.

I wish! It was back in '02 or '03, and I wasn't planning on entering him, I got talked into it while I was there. I'm not entirely convinced that he wasn't just following trained sheep around, either. I swear that the sheep were moving the way that they were instructing us to go before Grant did anything. Perhaps he whispered "Bah Ram Ewe" to the sheep before we got in there. I took my certificate and left, but he's not going to be working on a sheep ranch any time soon.
