Default Google Goggles face recognition search....

For those that are unfamiliar, google goggles is a IMAGE recognition search. At the moment, I *think* it's either due to be, or is available on google mobile, but not the regular google chrome browser.

but until Google works out privacy controls it doesn't make use of its ability to recognize faces
I wonder just HOW they intend to work that issue out. I know the government can use it, our license branch has already started implementing with DL photos.........and that is scary enough, LOL

I can see how this feature would be very useful, but it also scares me a bit for anyone with access to a computer/internet to use it

I think of people in witness protection, people who have left a crazy SO, or 'law abiding' citizens who don't want to be found by someone...etc etc. You never know when you are in a crowd (say like a parade or dog show) and your image gets snapped and posted randomly.

Thoughts on potential good and bad this might bring?
