Default I think I might just have the worst neighbors.

My elderly neighbors recently put up a 10' by 10' pen at the back of there yard. This was over Thanksgiving and they had family staying with them plus the family's dog. So I thought the pen was for that dog.

But I went outside last night and noticed a light on, on the dog house inside the kennel. I didn't think much about it, but thought it was weird.

This morning I saw what looks like a Papillon pup jumping and running about the kennel. I can't believe they left it out all night! It was in the 40s/30s last night.

My neighbors make me sick.

Ugh i hope they don't leave it out there when it's colder. It's really dangerous to leave a papillon puppy out by itself. There are a lot of things that will eat them, especially at night. I hope you guys don't have great horned owls where you are. Because that is not an uncommon fate for toy breed puppies that are left outside alone at night.

If they're older, maybe they're just not thinking about the fact that it's a toy breed and should be inside? You might politely express concern about the pup getting swooped up by a hawk or something.

My mom has new neighbor's that have the traditional chained dog in the back yard. No attention past keeping him alive that I can see. IT's so sad. Sorry your seeing something like that too.

Thats Awful! In Florida, we don't let our coated dog out, who has a good deal of fat on her, stay out overnight in winter unless she wants to. She never has wnated to by the way. Poor puppy...

Maybe they got up early (my grandma always got up CRAZY early) and put the pup out to do it's "business"????? I hope so Still not real safe out there unattended though, even if it wasn't all night.

My step kids' grandmother lives in the country, and she won't let their toy poodle go potty alone........there are WAY too many hazards (like big birds and other wild animals)

Yah.. I do not know how they get away with it. The cops are always around here, the neighbors on the other side have complained, but nobody has proof
