I am sorry. It is a horrible thing to witness. I still cannot get the images of Bens death out of my mind. I know what you are going through.

you are taking Ben a lot worse than I am taking Marsha. I was not really attached to her.

I know how much Ben met to you. and how tragic that was. I cannot even imagine what it was like with Ben

I had Marsha for 2-3 months. you had Ben lots longer than that.

I am awful sad, but I am not crying. When Chance died I cried for weeks.
I just think it is so weird to touch, feel, and see you pets dead body right after it was fine! such a shock.

Hubby doesnt care much for the rabbits. but he was very supportive.
It was hard for me to cry long, because Lynn keep licking my tears and wagging her tail. even scratching me with her paw as to say "mom, stop crying"

I'm so sorry

Even if she wasn't with you long, it's still hard when they go. As for the body do whatever you are most comfortable with. Personally when Sasha passed at home (ferret), I brought her to the vet and had her cremated. That was just the easiest thing for me as like you I didn't want to just put her in the ground and certainly wouldn't have felt right putting her in the trash. It's typically pretty cheap if you don't ask for the ashes back.

I walked out to the woods this morning and just laid her under a tree. I am okay with other animals eating her. cycle of life.

WHen my baby squirrel died, while he was fresh and warm i laid him up on the highest visible branch I could figuring he would be a meal for something and that might spare something else for a day. I am sorry for Marsha, I hope there was no pain. Hop free girl. Rabbits should have a heaven too where there are no predators.

I hope a nice fox got a meal out of her, or fed her to the baby foxes.

I have been really spending lots more time with Ryo and Charmin since last night. It made me realize how important my bunnies are to me.

Im so sorry for your loss. I always admired how beautiful Marsha was in your sig. Im also a lover of Angora's. ((((((Many hugs))))) and (((((((nuzzles from the buns))))).

I also agree with Xandra. It seems like a sick bun rarely bounces back. Im hoping my girls make it their full 10 years. They steal your heart.
