Okay, so I really just need to complain, there is no point to this post.
We have been using this pet sitting service basically since they started and were just a very small family run kind of thing. Well now they have expanded into a much bigger operation, which is good for them... BUT... I just emailed to set up services for January and they send the bill and it was all messed up and I tried to question it and the lady who wrote back doesnt understand what I am talking about... plus I have no idea who this lady who wrote back is... the owners used to respond to emails and they obviously arent anymore and she just signed the email with her name but never said who she was... plus she called my cat a he, when she is a she Okay, I mean these seem like petty little things, I get it, they ARE! But it is just annoying when you are used to one level of service and now it is all detached and impersonal. The thing is though, I LOVE the sitter we have and I dont really trust anyone else with the animals. okay, I kind of feel better now! If you actually read this please accept my apologies,

I'd just write the owner a letter stating how happy you've been with services in the past but you are concerned about the sloppiness you're seeing emerge as the business grows.
Maybe they're breaking in a new secretary or maybe they had little Cousin Mindy helping with some emails over the holiday?

No, I get it. There's a certain quality about small family-owned businesses that you just can't get from bigger businesses. They're very personal and usually friendly and it's so easy to get any problems solved. Oh well, at least your sitter is still the same.
