The ferrets, unfortunately, contracted H1N1 from me. Oops. Ferrets can get many human virii and H1N1 is one of them. They were in pretty bad shape - not eating, wheezing, sneezing, and Porom lost even more weight. I fed them some duck soup by syringe twice a day for the past week. Palom has gotten FAT. Porom... hasn't gained weight. But she's active and healthy, and they're both scarfing their kibble again, so I'm not too worried.

Some pics from their playtime today. Mind the long nails, they got a trim after playtime. Tomorrow, they get a bath!

Yuffie is my babygirl. <3 I love her. I don't share too many photos because as I'm sure you know, photographing chins is HARD, they move too fast!

Ferrets are cute and fun,but I probably would never have one because of their smell.I just like playing with other people's ferts!

No. The chinchilla and ferrets have their own individual cages and the chinchilla only comes out of her cage when ALL of the other animals are put away. She's a prey animal, I can't trust my dog, cat or ferrets (all predators) with her. Instincts can kick in, etc.

However, I keep both and have no problems. They just get individual playtimes!
