I dont know the prices of the food there but Wellness and Solid Gold are both decent foods.

I had Armani on the wellness for awhile after his surgery and his poops were HUGE, so if I had to get a food there again i would probably try the Solid Gold.

im not sure what the prices are like, but blue buffalo is usually priced nicely...chicken soup for the dog lovers soul is also usually priced nicely round here.

If you have a costco nearby, you might want to check out their Kirkland brand. Petco is usually waaay more expensive than my local pet supply place when it comes to foods, so you're not going to find much "cheap" and of any quality there imo.

Petco sells Wellness, Solid Gold, Blue Buffalo, and Chicken Soup for the Dog/Cat's Soul. All are decent foods - by-product free and corn free (and Wellness has an entirely grain free line - Wellness CORE). I think price varies by region - none are ridiculously expensive around here, a few bucks more or less than the specialty pet food store I work at.

Thats what I feed, but since Black Friday is tomorrow I want to see if I can buy a large bag since it'll probably last long of better quality dog food.

Thanks everyone for the replies!

Are you looking for a grain free one out of those three?

It'll have to depend on the price really, because I'm also buying leashes, harnesses, a new dog bed, dog toy, so if I have enough than I would get the grain-free.

Of those three I would go with the Solid Gold, Chicken Soup as a second choice.

I am going to stop by Petco as well tmrw hopefully... I am hoping they have some good sales, I havent seen any circular for them.

But I get a lot of my dogs treats there.
