my stevie is so sweet.

steve sleeps tethered at night because he is still naughty. he's got a dog bed next to mine, and his tether is long enough that he can put his front feet up on my bed, but can't actually get on the bed. this keeps him off my face at 4 am when he's awake and wants to play.

anyway, when i wake up in the mornings, he puts his front feet up on the bed and i reach over and unclip his collar, and he hops on the bed to snuggle. he'll come over and sit on my stomach and give the most gentle sweet kisses and grunt and be all gooey.

he makes me melt.

I'll trade you for Mia... she wakes you up by smacking you in the face, licking inside your mouth, and biting your toes. lol

Summer's very snuggly and cute in the mornings but it's impossible to snuggle much now with Mia, who is ready to go right away.

I'll trade Tyr or Ares for Mia or Steve. Both of them wake you up by using your head as a launching pad. It took a while for me to finally figure out why I had a headache every morning.

Sawyer does that, minus the unclipping. He just sleeps on the floor next to the bed and then jumps up in the morning for cuddles.

Buster loves to snuggle int he morning. When he's really happy he lies on my chest and either gets in my face or he might stand there and do this thing where he plants his face flat into my chest/stomach/neck to get scratches behind th eears. its a lovley way to wake up.

Meg is a good snuggler 24/7, although first thing in the morning, it can be tough to wake her up. I can have my alarm go off, hit snooze, have it go off again, roll over, turn on the TV, and I STILL have to call her up to the head of the bed to cuddle. Came in handy when we slept in until almost 11 the other day. Bless her little heart, it didn't phase her a bit.

Mina is like that. When I let her out in the mornings, John is usually still sleeping. The first thing she does is walk out and flop over for belly rubs. The second thing she does is jump into bed with John and lay down next to him and give him kisses.
