That's true, Yoko. But if you have a weight limit to worry about hopefully you've not gotten a breed/dog that will get bigger than that weight limit.

If its more than just a wondering (and there is no reason not be be curious) people usually get a well bred dog so they know the final size, or adopt an older pup/adult.

i do agree, other forums are other forums...theres been the "heres how it works here be civil or there will be issues" speech, now hes got the chance to prove himself not a troll...

if he proves to be a troll in time apropriate measures will be taken, untill then hes as free to post here as anyone else.
i also dont agree with declawing, and hope that his mixed breed came from a shelter (highly unlikely considering he knows the mixes of the parents) i also hope hes not going to be distressed when it turns out his dog turns out to be over 20lbs...(and highly likley a good deal OVER that)
and i hope he can learn from the forum just as others have.

as a side note.
if theres a weight restriction, i would HOPE someone facing a weight restriction would choose a dog with a general idea of the breeds average adult weight. either stick to a breed with a standard from a good breeder...or adopt a full grown dog form a shelter.

I agree with this statement.

Even though he did spam up the other site (and what I heard about him annoyed me immensely), he should be given a fair chance here. We can see how acts in the long run.

As far as your question goes, Crush;
It seems to me that you'll have a medium-sized pooch instead of a toy-sized one. OR you could have an overweight puppy.
You should be able to feel his ribs but not see them, and if they're difficult to feel than chances are he's overweight.

And that's all I did even with disclaimers that it was my personal opinion. I think I was banned after I recommend a 16 year old be careful with a St. Bernard becuase he would have to walk around with rags around the house to wipe up the drool and questioned whether he was going to do this. Also if he did want to be active with the dog, there might be problems. I also questioned whether his parent knew about the drooling.

I guess that got me banned? Who knows..

Thanks for the info on the ear cleaner and weight.

The one bad thing about poodles is they are prone to ear issues!

My groomer just recommended this spray...

Micro-Tek Spray

One of my poodles was starting to get an ear infection, used it once and the redness already started going down.

I think it had something to do with the fact that you were telling everyone they couldn't handle any breed accept the ones you would own. As well as spreading misinformation.

Not to mention the whole apbts are baby killers thing.

You do know not all Saints drool that much right? Nor that they can't be active dogs?

Performance Agility for example

If you spread mis information (which is not the same as an opinion) you will likely not be popular on forum.
