Meth house busted in my neighborhood!

It's not like across the street or anything, but it's only about 8 blocks away

This neighborhood has been declining for a while now, it's an older neighborhood with many folks who've lived in their homes for 40+ years. They pass on, leave it to kids who have their own life and either rent them out or sell cheaply to others who rent them out. Nothing against renters per say, but these homes are older, need repairs, and they AREN'T getting the repairs needed because they just accept a "lower clientèle" when renting them out

Sometimes it amazes me, I mean the people that are busted for these things...........this particular "drug house" had a mom, dad, and two kids. What do people THINK OF when deciding their options to make money? Was the quick cash worth losing their family over? *shakes head* I just don't think I'll ever understand

Ugh........anyway, I'd just like to say I SO WISH we could move out to the boonies. I'd have my big garden and a herd of dogs, a couple 4 wheelers and maybe even some chickens! LOL

Don't feel bad it doens't even have to be a declining neighborhood. WE got them all over here. RIch and poor. I went to the park this fall and found umpteen empty packages of sudefed. FIgures.

This is much more common than a lot of people think. I was looking for a place with my mom when I was prego with madison and out of 4 houses we looked at, 2 contained meth and drug paraphernalia. The first one had a meth pipe with residue out in the shed, along with two giant jars half filled with a white substance which clearly was used for making meth. The house we chose to rent had hidden baggies which were partially filled with crystal meth and we didn't find them until after we rented the place. I have to say that people don't just choose to make meth and sell it for money by chance.... They make it and sell it because they are using it themselves. Most drug dealers use their own drugs. In fact, they most likely start out using and graduate to making it themselves and selling. Grrr, no child should be around such toxic chemicals like that.... The fumes alone are horrendous...
