My relatives sent me a gigantic box of kiwi fruit! YAY! I made and canned a bunch of kiwi-pineapple-lime jam yesterday. It tastes incredible and is such a pretty shade of green. Very sweet and tropical tasting. Dinner for me and Hubby last night was peanut butter sandwiches slathered in the stuff.

I canned a dozen jars of jam and probably used only 1/3 of the kiwi I have. I had to stop because I ran out of pineapple. I'm thinking...I have a few bags of frozen strawberries in the freezer. I think I'll do a few batches of strawberry-kiwi jam today. With the bright red and green jams, I bet I can make some adorable Christmas gift baskets and/or Christmas desserts.

Anybody else make homemade jam?

Sounds good! I used to help my mom and grams make grape jelly. We had friends that owned a HUGE vineyard and every year they had us come over and load the car with as much as we wanted, LOL Needless to say I'd never tasted Smucker's until I had my own place! hahaha
