Puppy!!! :WOOT:
5mo old intact bulldog boy. He's soooo lovable. Very, very bright.
Ehh, no one's reading this stuff anyway. On with the photos:  Oh, we can go outside??!?!!!?!? GREAT! What's "outside?"  He realized he likes outside!  Pushing his luck.  Learned 'sit' in two tries. Soooo smart.  All that work makes a boy thirsty! (He just learned how to drink out of a bowl as opposed to a gerbil thingie.)  Giving some tongue to the camera.  What was that?  I love you - let me clean your ears.  Oh, you don't like me all over your face? What now??? OH, you say you're tired of my puppy bull-poo? How 'bout a kiss? No? Hmm...  Okay, I guess I'll take a nap over here then.

This is the little guy I posted about a couple weeks ago. My sister changed her mind about re-homing him, and then changed it again when puppy chewed on her toddlers.
I named him Cassius. (His registered name is Belle's DJ Rockstar. "Belle" would be my sister.) He hasn't been socialized much, so we've been working with him having that priority in mind. He has learned that: leave piles are FUN, NOT the devil; the dark is great for tripping humans, NOT scary; 'checking in' with Mom on walks=treat; sit=treat; shake=treat; down=treat; heeling through the house=dangerous--watch where you're going! Since he's figured good things happen when he checks in with me, he'll stop in the middle of rowdy play and just STARE at me. That's my creepy little weasel. To further complicate things, we also got a barn cat's kitten. Totally not my idea, I'm anything but a cat person.... but alas - she's cute, needed a home (the rest of her litter were lunch for coyote), and my boyfriend is a mush. :sigh: She's nameless as of yet, so I will do my best to get pics up of that here really soon. Puppy and kitten get along famously. Capone is learning to tolerate just the sounds of the kitten and pup playing without stroking out. It is an adventure, if nothing else.
