My dog Morley will not go #1 or #2 in our back yard. It's only during walks that he'll do his business.
However, when we go to a friends house / yard he has no issues going in their backyard (they also have a dog). Should I think about getting a friends dog to do their business in our yard to encourage him? Thoughts? |

He might see his yard as part of his living space that he doesn't want to "dirty" up.
I'd just stop taking him on so many walks, and give him that time in the yard instead. You'll have to keep a close eye on him the first few days to make sure that he doesn't have an accident in the house, but he will have to go eventually and when he does you'll want him to be in the yard. |

Fudge is the same in my granny's yard. It is a good thing for us because my granny doesn't want him to dirty her yard. |
