Question Pup Pup the Papillon is back....

There was a thread about this... I'll dig it up as soon as I post this...

Anyway, What do you guys think? Should I just pick him up to keep him from the hands of a puppy mill or byb?

I'd have to charge a higher rehoming fee than I normally do (and will feel terrible doing it, but I really can't eat that cost).... but maybe if I contact a papillon rescue they would do one of those curtesy postings or something?

here's the link....http://www.chazhound.com/forums/t107819/

I'd say go get him, but only you know for sure what is in your power to do.

Let us know!

yes pm, she emailed me and the other people fell through.

She wants $250. The thing is I CAN do that without really hurting myself... BUT I would have to get that money back.

So, I was thinking about printing some of the postings I saw where she said he'd be a great breeding dog... and use those to see if the pap rescue would make a posting for me. I would just ask for the $250 back... I really could care less about how much in food or whatever he ate...

ahh, i dont know what to tell you, only you know how much 250 dollars is going to hurt you.... I dont think you need to feel AT ALL bad about asking for it back, you are doing a good thing... but if you cant get it all back, what will happen? (you dont need to answer that for me, lol... I just meant it as a question to ask yourself)

$250 is a reasonable adoption price from a rescue... BUT what if you have to pay for vet bills, etc? It really racks up!
I bet a rescue would do a courtesy posting for you, too

Maybe you could set up a pay pal, if every chaz member donated a $1 you'd be rich lol!

well the town does subsidize(sp?) a vet here, so although their hours stink, they're a lot cheaper than private ones.

And apparently, the dog was just a vet and current on all of his shots, etc... so it would only be for an emergency... which is a gamble you take with any animal...

and if every chaz member donated $1 I WOULD be rich... I think there are like 23k registered members! LOL.
