I watched them all; so special. I remember years ago when my brother came home after being stationed overseas for 4 years and our dog peed all over the floor in excitement.

omg half of those made me cry... then the last one with the kids It can be alot harder on the dogs than most people realize -- when my cousin was deployed, their dog went into a depression and lost a lot of weight until he came home

Nice to see videos like that. It is great that someone was willing to take care of their dogs while they were away.

About 2 days ago there was a dog on CL that was being rehomed because the parents son was deployed and it was his dog. Instead of taking care of him until he came back they were giving the dog away. I have a nephew that was deployed to Afghanistan and if he had any pets I know that someone in our family would take care of them until he returned.
