In which I bathe the dogs and then Mia falls in a lake
Cardinal rule of dog ownership- if you take the time to groom the dogs for a photo shoot, they will fall in a lake or roll in the mud. Test it- it's proven, lol
So I threw the dogs in the tub and decided to take them to the park. There's this one gorgeous gorgeous area that I've been trying to get pics at but someone's always using it for wedding shots or something of the sort. So with that in mind Summer and Mia had to take a bath. Abuse!  I think here is where she is formulating her plot....  I probably shouldn't laugh but....  Soooo off to the park! Summer is up first:   And I did get this pretty shot of Mia:  So another wedding or something showed up so we decided to walk a bit... I found some ducks to try to take a photo of.  All of a sudden I hear a kersplash! and then I see my leash attached to something swimming in the water.  *sigh* I tried to continue the picture taking.  But... it just didn't quite have the same effect.  I don't know why /sarcasm/ more

So then we said screw it, let's go play on the island. The island is out in the middle of the pond and you have to cross a small stream to get there. Mia said no problem but Summer...
OMG CHASM OF DOOM!  You want me to cross THIS? I try running around it...  Long story short... it took about 5 minutes of coaxing to get her to do this:  And then she decided the stream wasn't so bad after all. 'And they approached the local watering hole...'  We had fun people and dog watching from Papillon Island (which Mia has thoroughly claimed)  Watching some people playing at the dog beach  Lots of sticks to kill on the island  People watching (she's so pretty!)  Nom nom  SPLASH!  1 more set
