How do you go about making sure you are saving full resolution pictures? I had never realized I wasn't until someone wanted to use one of my photos in an ad and couldn't because the resolution was too low. As I start to slowly rebuild my photo collection post-computer issues, I'd like to be saving the best in the highest resolution possible.

Shoot Raw. Otherwise, go to the menu in-camera and select the maximum quality and maximum resolution. On my camera I have a 4, 3, 2 & 1 star quality setting for jpeg output and I have a choice between 14, 10 & 6mp choice for size. I'd imagine it's the same for your camera (in principle). However, Raw yields full resolution and maximum quality for editing.

Ah, thanks! I've been browsing through the computer looking for options there. Never thought to look at the camera.
