I hate the phone. I hate talking on the phone. I never do so if I have a choice.
I have a medical issue and have a referral for a doctor that's out of state (only because it is closer than Phoenix and so is who my doctor refers to). So I've had to make a zillion phone calls (yes, a zillion

)..first the number on the form was wrong..then I got ahold of them and they said they didn't take my insurance (which seemed odd..), then I had to call the referral department at my doctor's and ask what the heck..then they discovered that they DO take my insurance as long as it is PPO (thanks for telling me that, receptionist lady), which mine is. So now I need call the specialist back to get an appointment, plus figure out what the heck amount I will have to pay, since it isn't in my network..and when the receptionist cheerfully told me, when she said they didn't take my insurance, that I could pay cash, she couldn't tell me an exact amount..there was a $300 span between the amount she gave me. So not sure how they figure out what I have to pay. I wonder if it would be rude to ask exactly what I need to refuse to do to keep it at the lower amount
I'm seriously ready to just forget about the medical issue, that's how much stress the phone calling is getting to be
