Default Are you a worrier?

I am, I worry about the MOST stupid things.. And even though I know it's silly to worry so much, I just can't seem to stop myself from doing it..

Here's an example: I have to go pick up something today at a place I have never been to before, I know the address, I know EXACTLY where it is, it's right next to the post office in town.. And yet I am STILL worrying that I won't find it..

I even woke up in the night worrying about it, and it's ridiculous.. I am a grown woman for goodness sakes.. If i'm not worrying about something i'm not happy and feel all out of sorts..

Why do I constantly live from one trivial worry to the next?

Not really. I probably should worry more, I might get more done that way.
When I do worry though I panic.

All the time. The thing is, I really worry about the silly things . . . and not the big things, most of the time. I'm going to Indonesia on a firm trip, and some of the other people are worried about terrorists . . . I'm worried about making sure we have internet access at all times and how long the commute will be from our hotel . . .maybe that's not the best example . . . but yeah, I wake up in the night worrying about silly things too.

Yup...I worry a lot. That's why I'm awake and on Chaz right now...got up at 3:30 or 4 because I was lying awake worrying about something. LOL. And Gustav, that worry about not finding some place when I haven't been there before....that one gets me a lot too because I have such a rotten sense of direction.

I wouldn't say that I worry all the time, but in the back of my mind, there is often something gnawing at me.Ya gotta do this. Don't forget to...what are you going to do about....? What are you gonna do if this happens?

I worry about money and I worry about the future. I worry about change.

Yes I am, on certain things, like my son. It's horrible, not fair to him since he's a good kid and able to take care of himself, but I still can't help worrying about him if he's a bit late. The schools have this automated emergency calling program for when the schools are canceled, or any emergency situation and also if your child hasn't shown for a class and had no excuse for it. They called me yesterday to say he didn't show for his last class. Freaked me out royally, I was about to jump in the car while I had them on the phone, only to find out they made a mistake, it wasn't him. AH!

I have a friend whose 18 year old son takes the prize for being a worrier.

His son calls him several times a day and asks, "are you okay, Dad?" He's in incredibly sweet kid. He just worries CONSTANTLY.
