Default I got a Dozen Roses... with a twist

So Brian comes home from work today with a dozen pink roses. what a surprise. He hands them to me... and they smell beautiful. then I feel them... they aren't flowers at all. They are made out of......

WOOD how cool is that?

a lady at one of his clients MAKES these so he told her all about etsy so she could check it out and maybe sell them on there.

she only charges like $8 but she could and SHOULD charge way more than that.

they look SO real. I've seriously never seen anything quite like them. they are beautiful.

I hope she does check out etsy. I think she will do really well ecause she has such a unique and beautiful product

They're very beautiful, but she's not the only one making them. I've seen these being on sale at the swapmeet ("Made in China" products) for like $1/piece.

Those are really cool!

I know a guy who gave a girl a dozen roses -- they were duct tap roses.

When I was planning my wedding, I found several people who offered them. Then you can keep your wedding bouquet forever

we have vendors at all the local renfaires that sell these, they pick them up wholesale for about $1 a peice and sell them for $10...

however if she is hand making them, custom colors, and perhaps SCENTING them (a couple of drops of rose oil on the inner peice wouls make them smell real) and packaged nicely like that does make them stand out

and what a lovely suprise from the hubby!
