Why I like Chaz.

I don't post very often, but I lurk occasionally. I really like this website because it lacks the ignorance than so many people I know unfortunately have. Here, I can come and read, learn, and talk about dogs, and people will understand what I am talking about, and not (Like my sister) try to tell me that a long haired dachshund is a doxie poodle mix. (funny--but it really happened today, at PetSmart)

Chaz is a place where there are educated opinions on each side of many dog related debates and arguements, and I am free to join in and express my opinion. Chaz has given me information and insight into the world of dogs, and now more than ever, I know which path I want my life to take. (Obviously, I want it to involve dogs.) (BTW, I am a high school student currently; yes, I am probably one of the younger/est chazzers)(And proud of it. lol)

Chaz is a place where I can escape and be surrounded by people just like me; the type of people who I am not surrounded by in my daily life.

Thank you, Chaz forums, for being a great place for me to grow and develop in my understanding of my passion.

Sorry, I just had to write this; I'm watching National Treasure, and I'm surrounded by heroic and intense music. lol

I too love Chaz, the good the bad, and everything inbetween. Going to the funday and seeing ppl holding their dogs down made me sad and really appreciate chazzers even more.

Hahaha!! When I take blk/tan doxies out I sometimes get "Is that a rottweiler"? Really??

Or a dapple -- "Must be part blue heeler, right?"

Or a piebald is a beagle or a basset...

I love the looks on their faces when I tell people that doxies come in many different colors, coats, and patterns.

I am on my vet's speed dial in case anyone needs to know the color of their doxie, LOL

I am so grateful for Chaz, I stumbled on it when I was 15 and I couldn't have found a better place. Because of Chaz I found my absolute passion in life, Buster sure must be thankful for how much I've learned re: food, training techniques, patience and general knowledge.
I've learnt so, so much and continue to learn.

I love it too ! Im in highschool too (grade 11) and NOBODY else in my schoool and nobody else around here in general knows anything about dogs.. I like coming here to people that do know things!

Its so much better then some forums im on ( like, if you dont s/n your dog at 6 months your terrible, all breeders, even reputable ones are terrible creatures and are to blame for pet overpopulation.. A bunch of crazies I tell ya, Dekka knows! bahaha)

So I like this places "level headedness" Everybody cares about the pet overpopulation, everybody is aware of the animals in shelters, but are smart enough to know its BYBS and mills that need to be stopped

And yet we have breeders here, and people that biy from breeders.. this is honestly the only forum I can be myself on without feeling like I will get bashed...
