Default Eye woes again
Summer's hair is falling out around her eye now. Is this normal with styes? Will it grow back? She's still on antibiotics and drops.

it could be the eye drops themself, ive seen this kind of reaction with some eye drops, whats in them?

Okay they're Gentamicin Sulfate Ophthalmic Solution.

Ingredients: Gentamicin Sulfate, Benzalkonium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Phosphate, Tyloxapol, sodium hydroxide, hydrrochloric acide.

It does look a lot better. I personally would give some time and see if the hair goes back, and if the hair loss gets worse, then I'd call the vet.

Tyloxapol and sodium hydroxide can both cause temporary hairloss, in either case it will grow back once shes off the drops for awhile.
however if there begins any redness ect in the area, or if after a couple weeks after finnishing her drops theres no signs at all of regrowth it would be worth talking to the vet.
