Default Disturbing Teddy

Placenta Teddy Bear | Inhabitots

I'm so confused and a bit nauseated. So, that means I have to share it with all of y'all!

That's kind of awesome......in a macabre sort of way. Who wouldn't want a placenta bear in a jar on the mantle?

We planted Aurelia's placenta under a sapling, so it's kind of like her "birth tree".

I wanted to plant Audree and Jacob's placenta's under trees but the hospital wouldn't let me take them. -sighs- Sorry for the momentary thread highjack.

Uhm..........I'd have to go with the vote of BARFTASTIC! (choice from the page, LOL)

But then I am not one of those moms who keep baby teeth, dried cord that fell off, or things like that! LOL I did keep a lock of hair from first hair cuts, they are displayed with the before and after pictures

that is beyond barftastic--did you read the comments?

It’s as if Hannibal Lecter and FAO Scwartz got together to make a toy.

Sitting in delivery room, fresh after childbirth:

“Look Honey, its your placenta.”
“Yeah, Bob…whatever shall we do with it?”
“I dunno dear, surely we can think of something, Hey, I know, what about a placenta teddy bear.”
“Great idea Bob, I’ll dry it out, put on special oils and seasonings, create a pattern and hand stitch it all together.”
“And to think, we have been eating it all these years. Now we have a toy for our child to cherish, forever and ever.”
” I love you Bob, you’re the best. What me to save the scraps for stew tomorrow?”

I clicked on the eating your baby's placenta link - now that, is disturbing. (to me^^) You would not get me to eat that...
