Default Hey Boemy! Any updates?

Have you by any chance heard anything about our kitties? Have they gotten new homes? I'm still thinking of those little cuties. I wonder too, if Cricketsmygirl has thought about looking in a local shelter for a kitty.

Well, Remy came down with a kitty cold . . . he sounds like he has laryngitis when he meows and he threw up some gross, clear mucus.

I didn't want to risk the grey and white kitten getting it so I ended up taking her to the rescue group. While I was there I peeped into the cat room and saw the boy kitten lounging happily. He just got neutered, but at that age I don't think they really notice anything's gone. The littlest girl kitten has already been adopted!

Hope you're not too disappointed, Cricket, but I just didn't feel I could risk the kitten getting sick at that young age . . . Also, I was trying to spend a lot of time with my kitty invalid so she was alone in my room almost all day. :/

Oh poor Remy. I hope he didn't get it from one of the kittens. It's possible that they may have had a cold, but we didn't notice any symptoms. I remember a cat of mine a long time ago getting something where his voice got all hoarse. Hope he gets well soon.

Wow...so the little girl got adopted. Is that the one with more of a mask? Or the other one? That is just great that the rescue had the space for them. I bet you miss them though. Well, it's for the best.

I hope too, Cricket, that you're not too upset. I just know you'll find just the right kitty right there near your town. If you do get one, keep us posted. I'm sorry this one didn't work out. That transportation thing can get complicated to coordinate, can't it.

Well, thanks Boemy. I think about those little cuties every day.

Oh, if the rescue still has room, a friend of mine has, I think...4 or 5 kitties. They're a tad older than "ours." But they're still quite young and they're all black. This shelter here is just jammed full to the gills.

The vet suggested that one of the kittens might have had a mild cold and Remy got it in a worse form . . . although I don't remember any of them sneezing. But Remy has always been kind of . . . not sickly, exactly, but maybe a little weaker immune system than some. (His eyes are always watering and he tends to eat too fast and then throw up.) Anyway, he's on banana-smelling antibiotics and sounds more normal today. Booster is perfectly healthy, just jealous that he doesn't get any antibiotics. They're both disappointed they no longer have kittens to sniff.

Yep, the masked girl got adopted. My favorite of the three, I must admit! I'm sure they'll get good homes but I'll miss them racing around like crazies.

A-w-w-w...they miss their baby friends. Maybe you should go back to the rescue and take back one. LOL.

Hope Remy will be okay soon.

One last update, one kitten is up on Petfinder now. The other girl has been adopted for sure and the boy isn't listed, which makes me think he's been adopted as well. (Pssst . . . there's still time to add a kitten to your family, Doberluv. )

Adopt a Siamese: Christine: Petfinder

Christine is a name the shelter made up, I just put down "kitten" in the name section, LOL.

Oh-h-h...bitter sweet thoughts....Christine on Petfinder! Does that mean she's in a shelter? Or is she in a private foster home? Poor girly. Boemy, you know I can't have a kitty with Toker. It's just too much risk. I sure hope she gets adopted soon.

Thanks for the update. Yup...those other two looked more Siamese and probably were snatched up quickly. But Christine is also very pretty, I think.

No, she's in a rescue. They advertise their animals on Petfinder. She's probably having a great time, they let their cats run loose in one room instead of keeping them in cages.
