Default Halloween

What are everyone's plans?

Here they changed the trick or treat day to friday night for some reason... but that's ok cause that means we can do trick or treat and the festival.

Hannah is a garden Gnome haha. Tomorrow her daycare is having a little party that we will be attending in the morning. They are going to all dress up and do a little parade that should be adorable. and then we all go inside to the fellowship hall (basically like a big gymnasium) and play games and have lunch and just have some fun. Hannah is providing ham and cheese sandwiches and there will be applesauce and desserts and other sandwiches. going to be fun.

Then she'll have a nap that afternoon and then we will get ready for trick or treating tomorrow night. we are going to take her out first to a few houses and then come back here and hand out candy to the other kids.

Saturday there is a little festival going on from 3-7. so I'm kind of glad trick or treating was changed to friday so we can do both and not feel rushed. they will have games and candy and hotdogs, hayrides and entertainment (doesn't say what the entertainment actually is lol) Just hoping it doesn't rain. but there is a raindate November 7th.

so what are your plans? are you dressing up? kids dressing up?

We'll have a custume & food contest here at work. Our department's theme is "Identity Crisis", so our goal is to make a fool of ourselves and confuse everyone .

I'll be a pregnant Hawaiian man

As for home, we'll just sit by the door waiting for the trick-or-treaters to come..

This might be the first year I don't have a child dressing up. My youngest started high school this year. I know some of the high schoolers still dress up, but he hasn't mentioned it. He has mentioned going to someone's house for a halloween party........

We have guests in town, and we will have the neighborhood kids to give candy out to. We always have to put Spanky in a bedroom so he doesn't run outside every time we open the door.

As far as I know, our town is having trick or treat on Saturday. Saturday is also the day of the Georgia-Florida football game which takes place in our city. (We're Georgia alums living amongst all the Floridians, so we just hope our house doesn't get egged on Halloween, ha ha).

We have guests in town for the football game, and the trick or treating will start while the game is still going on. Someone will be here to answer the door, and if the game goes as expected, they'll be glad for the interruption!!

Next year, we should have a grandchild to start all these fun things over with again, but she might still be a year too young.
