Default It's been snowing since Tuesday

There's almost 2 feet of snow on the ground and another handful is predicted for today! Everything is capped and smoothed and the trees are blended into the ground. They said that the heaviest snow has moved out to the airport by this time, but I'm still hearing planes, so they haven't shut down. Yet.

I have never been so thankful to be able to work from home. I've got a pot of hot coffee and nowhere to be today! Sawyer went into work with JJ, while Vegas refused to get out of bed, so she's snuggled on the couch with me.

If i had some proper gear, I think I'd go outside and play. But alas, I don't even have a pair of mittens right now. I haven't the faintest idea where all my winter stuff got to during the last couple of moves.

OK, so I'm flying in there on Sunday. Weather report from here says in the 50's all week. Do they lie? Should I bring my ski jacket and boots?

It's supposed to warm back up, though with all this snow, once it's starts to melt, you might want to bring a pair of hip waders! :Rofl1: You have to let me know when you've got time to meet up for a beer or something!

UGH... I want snow. I'm so SICK of the non stop rain we've had going on here. We've had more rainy days than dry days.

it's not raining right now but it's pretty cloudy.

I'm just hoping we get SOME snow here this year. they are predicting lots though so I hope theya re right

If this is any indication, we're screwed. Storms like this aren't supposed to happen until December from what I've been hearing from the general chatter.

yeah they are saying we should have plowable snow here by thansgiving too which is kind of unheard of around here.

we got less than 6 inches of snow combined all winter last year... it sucked

Up at State College here they had snow a couple weeks ago. earliest snow EVER in history for that area...

so me thinks everyone is in for a rough winter. seems to be going that way for everyone.

did everyone get lots of rain this year too? more than usual
