I'm just frustrated.
![]() Every person I've gone to so far looking for help for my anxiety has pointed me to someone else. A million phone calls and emails and nothing's actually been done except I have a meeting with my counselor who also happens to be my professor but it's not until next week. I was really hoping to talk to a third party though. |

First let me say I LOVE your avatar! VERY SCARY! hahahaha
I feel bad for you Laur, it's going to be a tough road at school in finding someone who actually understands just what you are talking about. Most of them haven't a clue or think anxiety is "normal" for a college kid...............and to an extent, I guess that is true, but you have to make them understand somehow that it's more than just a little anxiety. I wish you luck in finding someone who can actually help you (((HUGS))) |

do you have health insurance?
if so, keep looking for someone, dont take no for an answer and dont take "oh its just jitters" for an answer either. the symptoms are effecting your daily life and could begin effecting your school and social life too *hugs* dont give up, you gontact every psychiatrist and psycologist, push the school psyc if you need to, keep fighting!
