Is it alright to feed cats bones? I always fed my dogs those raw "pet bones" (that's what they're labeled as) that they carry in the grocery store once or twice a week as a treat. Would they (the smaller ones, of course) be alright to feed to my cat? Her teeth are kind of gross, and she HATES having her teeth brushed, I thought that it would help her teeth?
I also have a basted/smoked bone that I had bought for a friend's dog (I was pet-sitting) before she told me that he couldn't have it, as they give him really bad diarrhea. Would that be okay to feed to her, or not? Thanks!

I've never really used one before, the only thing that worries me is that they might break the cat's teeth. If you want to clean the teeth I'd get a raw bone like chicken/turkey/rabbit ribs, chicken wings, anything from a Cornish game hen or most rabbit bones and feed them to the cat, raw bones, not cooked, are great for the teeth.
