Dog bites/scars?

plenty of bites from wading in to a bay w/ too many dogs on the hog or bear & all amped up. but most of my real bad bites have been GSD & 1 bulldog (not the fat english sausage, due to brain tumor). i have a square scar on the right hand & thumb (that's the one that will hurt sometimes). i also have a scatterring of GSD scars on both arms, a couple of good ones upto 2 inches long. and a good bite scar on my lower right shin.
just from personal experience, if it doesn't break the skin & you're not wearing heavy leather, it wasn't a full bite. i don't even count the nips that broke the skin but didn't penetrate.
