bought old dog food
I just bought a bag of dog food that will last Ruckus atleast two months. I just noticed that the "best if used by" date is only two weeks from today!
can you still use a feed it it is past the best if used by date? or should I take it back? I dont know if it matters, but this dog food is packaged in a zip lock sort of bag.

Well, since it's just a "best by" date, I don't think it will be too bad... Where'd you buy it? I would call them and ask if they're okay with you bringing it back even though you already opened it because you just noticed it's going to be out of the 'best by' date very shortly. Some places (usually feed stores and small businesses) would gladly take it back and some might not, but it never hurts to call and ask.

I called the dog food manufacturer and they suggested that I take it back! I was thrilled that they were so helpful with me. I should had just called before asking you chazzers. LOL
thats always the first thing I seem to do. "well, i will just ask chaz"
