Default Met a Bouvier today....

...at the dog show. The interesting part? It had a tail! I have never seen one with a tail before. They actually have a short semi curly tail. This one was imported from Europe at a few months old so they decided not to dock it. Neet to see.

I think they are very handsome. I like that look, but of the three very similar looking breeds, the Giant Schnauzer, Black Russian Terrier, and Bouvier, the Bouvier has, to me, the least appealing personality.

A guy I used to train with has an undocked Bouv, here he is. This dog is a beast, from European KNPV titled lines.

Ha ha. Bouves are fantastic! I have a Bouve Badger, He has a tail. I think it is beautiful, but I also love the docked tail. We had his mother Shadow and she had a docked tail and it was the cutest thing watching the little stump go back and forth when she was happy.

I actually love the personality of the Bouve, they are very very loyal and are aloof with strangers and are protective when they need to be. They also make exellent cattle herding dogs. My brother and I was shadows whole life and it was her goal in life to make me and him happy, we actually trained her to pull us in a cart, and she would naturally herd cattle like she was doing it her whole life!
