Default Tennis Ball Obsession

Mia is really weirdly obsessing over tennis balls lately. She carries one around at all times almost in her mouth. She just carries it around the house and will try to shove it in anything she can find. Shoes, backpack, hide-a-squirrel, drawers, etc. All around the apartment... "Ooh will the ball fit in here? Oooh how about here? How about here?" She'll just put it in, then pull it right back out. Her hide a squirrel has no squirrels in it, it is full of tennis balls, lol!

She's also found out if she puts them on a slanted surface, it'll roll away - that's great fun too. She's also figured out to roll them off the couch and the desk and make them bounce- also good fun.

She never stops! I wish I had her energy sometimes.

BAH HA HA. She sounds like loads of fun and hilarious to boot! Teagan loves her tennis balls too, but she does not hide them but she will climb up on the couch and drop the ball beween the seats so we have to stick out hand under the couch to get it she tries to do that over and over ha ha, and she also loves to ripe off the fabric on the tennis balls. She discovered doing that by watching Casey my mothers scotty who just bites them in pieces and then rips off the fabric.. Dogs are weird ha ha

I can't decide if Mia and Auggie should hang out or if getting the two of them together would be the WORST idea in the world. If Auggie is out when I come home, he greets me at the door with a ball in his mouth. If he hears something, he has to go check it out, but he grabs a ball first. He also likes to play catch with himself. On the stairs. He takes a tennis ball, goes to the end of the landing, and drops it. He stands there, smiling like a goon, watching it bounce it's way down the stairs. Then he goes downstairs, gets the ball, carries it back upstairs... and repeat. He'll also play this game with me if I'm standing at the bottom of the steps - drops the ball to me, I'll pick it up and throw it back up to him, and he'll drop it back down, just staring and smiling as it goes down the stairs.
I actually wonder if his mind would explode if I dropped a Slinky down the stairs. If he thinks watching a tennis ball go down the steps is interesting...

I wish I could meet Mia, she sounds like the worlds awesomest papillon in history, no jokes. And yeah, I think Mia and Auggie would get along perfectly, they both seem ready to plot things .

Bella is like this ALL the time, I kind of wish we had tried to to break her of it when she was young... it only got worse over time and now she needs one all the time even when she is in the car.

Gunnar is like that. If we're outside, he's got a toy in his mouth. Barking at people walking by, with a toy in his mouth is pretty funny. Last night it was pouring rain. I opened the back door, he runs out and 2 minutes later is standing at the door to come in. With his toy.
