Those leaves just look amazing...we had a hard frost/snow the other week and it just sucked the color out of the leaves left on the trees. The reds had been breath-taking, now they're all washed out. The grey skies today though made the yellows pop out a bit more.

Both are beautiful, Smkie. I love how some of the creek-bed is visible on the first, and how the leaves are almost glowing in the second!

All the maples seem to be yellow down there. It has made it feel like your in a different kind of world. I took the dogs there just as much as humanly possible because it only lasts for such a short time. THe paw paws are a lemon lime green and I am looking forward to sharing my pics of them next week.
