Cider reached a new milestone yesterday. She was at 30 Q's after getting a qualifying score in master snooker.. which puts her on AAC's top dog list overall.
Today she got her 9th Q this year with a qualifying round in master jumpers and got on the top dog list of 2009. Smudge had his 9th Q more than a month ago and feels like a big man ![]() Smudge tried but it wasn't his weekend. Nice snooker run, turned too wide. Bad jumpers run today. Lot of people didn't realize he'd moved up to master's in such a short time and were suitably impressed though It was stupid cold out.. no pics, but I do have video.. Good for you guys!
We had a bit of a hot/cold weekend ourselves. The masters level/tournament courses are still on the brink of being a bit tough for us. Meg finished her PII title with a stellar standard course, almost 8 seconds faster than the second place dog, and that was with her hitting and HOLDING her contacts for a couple of seconds each. She did give me our first PIII Q in snooker, which pleased me. But little errors (or in the case of Performance Speed Jumping, massive errors on top of errors) kept us out of everything else. I think we are done trialing for a while; may come back out in Jan or March when we have had a bit more time to work.

Nice that 8 seconds is super impressive. Aww don't sweat it.. we've all hit stumbling blocks. Cider and I trialled the first few months of summer and were getting nothing every trial. We weren't workign well together, and we needed some time to take lessons from other people. It really helped. We've been far more on our game since. Taken less lessons this trial season.. but the ones we've taken have been more quality vs quantity..
