I'm currently trying to print pictures using Adorama, and it's cropping off some of my pictures. I'm printing an 8x10, and some of the photos I need printed out haven't been cropped in post-processing.
I'm speaking with the live chat, and they are telling me there is no waya around it? This is stupid....I take a picture, why will it not print like I took it? I don't want to crop some of the picture off and I know professionals don't have white borders.

pictures are taken to be printed as 3x5 or 4x6, so an 8x10 has to crop some off. you'd have to print an 8x12 to not lose anything

Ahhh, 8x12 will work? *goes to try* Thank you!
ETA: is it normal not to have an 8x12 size?

Great, yeah, you just have to remember that in order to not lose anything you have to stay in proportion to a 3X5. I don't know why frames are usually 8x10. It doesn't really make sense.

The proportion is actually 2x3, so a 4x6 won't have any cropping (nor will an 8x12. 3x5 will have some cropping, as will 5x7 or 8x10.
