I'm looking into a nice hands free leash system for my girls as keeping hold of two leashes can be a b!tch and it'd be nice to have the freedom of my hands when we're out and about.
alpha pac hands free leash home If anyone knows of a good hands free system I'm open to suggestions.

Never used one but I wonder how the dogs would be if they have a strong prey drive and see an animal that they want to chase. I think you would have to be a good runner to keep from getting dragged down by them.

I've never used one like that - it looks very neat, though!
Ellasleads has some leashes that go around the waist, or have different rings or snaps that you could do different things with. A guy around here walks his husky x with the strap around his shoulder... I don't know how to explain it... Like how a mother tells her daughter to wear her purse so it dosn't get snatched off your shoulder lol. I wondered if it would hurt my back.

you could try getting a dog coupler for both dogs and then tying the other end to your waist

When Virgo was here, I had two of the Marri's leads from Ellasleads. Used one as the coupler and then wore the other one across my chest, messenger-bag style.

I often have three leashes in my hands and wonder about using a hands free system. However, I find that sometimes I need to do something with one dog that I don't need to do with the other dog so I seem to want to work the leashes independently of each other. But yeah....it can be a pain. I keep one dog on my left and two on my right. Sorry I don't really have any particular type in mind. Good luck.

I am a fan of the "Euro lead." My dad always had them, but he got his from Ray Allen and I'm not going to spend that much on a leash O.O
BUT...I found this, at a much more reasonable price: Hamilton Nylon European Dog Lead 3/4" They have them in 2 widths in nylon and 1 in leather - nylon comes in a bunch of colors, leather in black or burgundy. I have a nylon one, and I love it. It's very good quality (I would have expected it to cost more than $8). It's soft on the hands. You can put it over your shoulder, around your waist, or use it as a regular leash (2 different lengths with one leash), and you can use it to tether your dog to something if you need to for a few moments. You can also hook one dog to each end and hold the middle - I've done this in a pinch, but it's not something I'd do regularly. I've had mine for almost a year and use it all the time, and it's holding up well. I did use a lighter to melt off some frayed pieces from dragging on the ground, but the workmanship is top notch. If you have two dogs, you can put one over each shoulder, and still be able to work them independently, rather than using a coupler.
