Default Berner X needs a home - Ontario - Canada

Located in Southern Ontario; 1/2 hr. from Buffalo New York border. Looking for a home for Marty; a 9 mos
old berner mix from the shelter. From Celine: He is awesome, food, ball drive and the most
amazing personality. A friend of mine is fostering him till he finds a good home, if you would like to meet Marty; pleas...e message me and I can get you in touch with the trainer who is fostering him.

Are you sure he's a berner? He looks just like a border collie to me.

the size makes me think berner over border collie.

Aww! I think he's just a tri color collie of some variety. I don't see any berner in him at all. :-)

Berners are not known to have a ball drive, LOL! They are playful, but they have the laid back big dog temperament like newfies or st bernards.

Besides, the head is not berner at all.

I'm not sure what kind of mix he is; but he is definitely heavier boned and heavier in the chest than a collie breed; but head is a bit off for a berner; but heavier than a collie again.

Wouldn't be an unheard of cross for this area; there are plenty of berner byb around.

Not sure; I haven't met him yet; my trainer is fostering him.
