I want to start giving them to Rosco and I think I have narrowed it down to 2 brands I really like.
GeneFlora and Prozyme, what are you opinions on these brands. If you have used them did you like the results? Thank you! |

Prozyme isn't probiotics, they're digestive enzymes to help aid the extraction and absorption of nutrients during digestion. It has no effect on the bowel flora, immune system, or bacteria in the digestive system.
Honestly if you want to use a pro-biotic just get the human acidophilus that's 1 billion micro organisms or more and break open the capsules. I usually suggest 1/8 of a teaspoon per day for a small dog, 1/4 teaspoon per day for a medium dog, an 1/2 a teaspoon per day for a large dog. |

I have two I have on probios. It has worked wonders for us. One of our girls, Valley had terrible digestion problems to the point of those huge cow patty type splatter poos. After about a week she had PERFECT poos. I kept her on it for about two weeks, twice a day. For whatever reason I didn't get more after the second week. Its been over two months and her poos are still perfect. I get it at Tractor supply in the horse supplement section, but it says on the package for dogs, cats, cows, goats, everything.
