There is nothing wrong with the way those dogs are playing. There is nothing wrong with how wild that chihuahua is being with the GSD. They are both having fun.

Yep, it's play. My dog always picks the largest dogs to play with because the small ones can't keep up.

LOL, I totally just did a double take because that ^^ brown dog looks so much like mine. Down to the ID collar he's wearing right now.

That photo was taken at the Addison Texas dog park. Is that your dog?

Well, someone's got to say it. I think the shepherd's a terrible tease.

My Lab Joe was 7 when I got Gus, and he was over 100 pounds and Gus was a whopping 14, and after the first five days of Joe growling, glaring, and generally tormenting Gus, he "cracked", and Gus was jumping on him, growling and it was clear, just like in this video, Joe and Gus were having a great time, even though it sounded terrible. They played very roughly for the next four years. Gus was 75 pounds then, Joe was pretty feeble at that point, but he still enjoyed their wrestling.

The ears are a very good give away that the shepherd in the video isn't scared or upset in the slightest.

I think, in the video title, "owns" is meant like "pwns". As in... the Chihuahua can obviously hold her own.

It does look like play. It's a little loud and obnoxious for a puppy, but I think she's just setting boundaries, and the GSD puppy is respecting them. Gonzo played like that as a puppy with my sister's Chi. I hate it when people say "it would take one bite!"... if a dog wanted to kill another dog, truly, it wouldn't take much more than one bite. My neighbor always says that when I walk Gonzo past their Cairn Terrier when, in actuality, that dog is much more likely to kill Gonzo than vice versa!

That dog is under a year. You can tell by the way it moves and how it interacts.
