BIG DOG vs. LITTLE DOG video. what do you think?

I think thats pretty cute. Sophie's (big mix - 42kg) best friend in the whole world was our 5kg maltese mix. Daisy would chase Sophie flat out in circles as play, funniest thing ever to watch this big pig dog type bolting as fast as she could to escape a fluffball not even the size of my head lol.

Sophie has always been aware of her size and very gentle when playing, Mac is so terrier and can hold her own when playing rough with dogs 2 or 3 times her weight but when Sophie plays with any of the other dogs she actually pulls her lips in over her teeth and never closes her mouth on them. If she actually manages to pin any of them she just flea nibbles them lol. None of them are so kinda to her though.

I think the beginning was not play If you look again there is a toy under the table next to him I think he was guarding it. I think that is one Good GSD tho. JMO

That vid doesnt make uneasy at all. I've had the same situation in my household. And my little dog really was serious at times, but the larger dog really didnt care.

lol i guess im just weird, i had no doubt the little dog was playing but i dunno, the big dog made me nervous

Little dogs, especially puppies, tend to play a little more rambunctiously then larger dogs. When Ben and Lilly play there are usually chunks of fur that are ripped out and they bite each other quite painfully. It is all play though and if you interupt them they both stare at you with glued up lips and big grins.

When Ben plays with my parents BC, he is rough like the chi and she just bats at him with her paw. I think big dogs understand that little dogs are little and little dogs take advantage of that. LOL!

Whether it was play or not I did notice the Chi is not neutered which would help in case it was a bit of aggression if he was neutered.

Suggesting that a dog that young be neutered is outrageous!

I wouldn't be nervous about it. Then again, that is how Rascal (2lbs) plays with Rosey (48lbs). It's just how little vs. big works
