Hi, welcome to the forum and congrats on your new puppy. Start potty training the moment your poochie enters your home. Don't give him the run of the house, when you can't keep a very close eye on him put him in a crate.

Take your puppy out every ten minutes so he gets the idea. Praise a lot when they pee in the right place (out side) and don't spank or do the "Rub Nose thing"
Oh....Welcome to the Boards. But by rule 7 section 3 subsection J-1 of the Chazhound constitution... "....Members to be in full and good standing must post at least one picture of their canine especially is said canine is of a puppy type do to the elevated likelhood of enhanced cuteness factors....." Sorry I don't make the rules.

Welcome to the forum,
You will need to take your puppy outside after sleeps and after eating, say something like "do your business" or whatever you feel comfortable to say. And after a while your puppy will learn that when you say that it is time to "do their business". Make sure that your puppy is supervised when indoors, so if you see him/her starting to go toilet you can take him/her outside and repeat your go toilet words. You will want to ensure that you are consistent in your training. Hope to see pictures soon.
