What is Kaylee?
This is one of my best friend's new puppy. She adopted her from a shelter that called her a 'shepherd mix'. And that's about all I know. My friend knows how much I like dogs so asked me if I know what Kaylee is. I am wondering if the shelter meant Australian Shepherd instead of german shepherd. I'd say Aussie/retriever but she's brindle.
These aren't the best pictures, but they're all I've got.

Love... She's love <3<3 Too cute. Uh... trying to think of something brindle that might fit in there, whippet or some sort of sighthound maybe?

Aussies do have the brindling gene, though it's normally confined to the tan points...Labs also have brindle in their makeup, though obviously it's not a common mismark.
Her face says aussie to me!

Something about her head looks like a sighthound puppy to me. Maybe it's the ear/ eye set or something. Tons of sighthounds are brindle too, greys, borzois, whippets, etc. She could be 1/2 to 1/4.
It'll be interesting to see how she grows up. Her whole look could change pretty drastically by then.

I'm not really sure how old she is those pictures honestly. I know she's had her a couple of weeks but I'm not sure when they were taken. Her description of Kaylee's temperament is 'fiendishly smart' lol.
I'll tell her you guys demand pictures in a few months again.

Laurelin, I was thinking the shelter meant Australian Shepherd mix, too. This is going to sound really weird, but, except for color, that first pic reminds me of some Golden puppies I've seen over the years. Maybe she's Golden/Aussie? There's probably something else mixed in there, too. One thing is for sure- that's one cute pup!
