Default Wellness Core?

So...this food has been out a while now and I haven't heard anything about it - good or bad.

Anyone here know anything about it? Have opinions on it? Be as critical as you can.

I know it's grain-free versus the other Wellness stuff and has just has a "single protein".

It is supposed to be very good, according to the various nutrion cites. Sarama and Docket love the fish formula.

That's what I used to feed my girls before switching to Nature's Variety (which I mainly did because I could buy it through work at cost, plus it's good food). They were healthy and happy on it. It's really expensive at Petco though! I was getting it from a place called Bark 'N Purr but then Petco started selling it and it's way closer to me, but it turned out to be $10 more for a big bag.

While I was in MN I had to get a bag because I couldnt find anyplace that sold EVO and CORE was the only thing grainfree I could find. I like the ingredence but my dog did not like it, he lost alot of weight due to not eating it, once I was finally back home and could get his regular EVO he ate that up with gusto and gained the weight back.
I do like the food tho, good quality, I want to try the fish formula and see if he likes that better!

I've only tried the canned core... fish variety.... the ingredients seemed ok, but Midge won't eat it....

so, I have like 2 cans left! if you were closer I'd give them to you... but I think shipping them would cost more than just going to store to buy new ones!

I like it. Bailey never had it (I was more comfortable with Orijen because of the manufacturing/processing aspect), but my cats were on it for a while.

I keep the canned fish version of Wellness Core on hand for B "just in case."
