What is the best disposable camera I can get? What do I look for in one? And does anyone have any pointers to help me take at least half decient pictures.
i hate disposables and i think it is a waste of my money! but we are going hiking tomorrow, my digital camera doesnt work anymore... and i am strapped for money. lord knows i have GOT to take pictures of my doggies

Make sure you're at least 3 feet away from the subject. The biggest issue is fixed focus, so anything too close is out of focus.
Next biggest is making sure you get a fresh camera, rather than one that's been sitting on a store shelf for months. Most of them are dated, just get the farthest away date and you should have better luck. Found this link about it with more info. The above two were just personal experience.
