Question Dog Nail Polish - is it different to human polish?

Hi all
I have seen nail polish for dogs on the market and I was wondering is this any different from human nail polish? what makes it suitable for dogs - is it because it is not harmful if they eat it?
Also do dogs try to lick/chew it off or are they ok with it?
thanks

Ya, I asked kenyas groomer about this. its used because if ingested, it won't cause any problems. also, there is no chemical smell

If it's less smelly and chemicall-y why aren't we using it on people?

when i play with rubies nails i use people nailpolish becuase the doggy stuff literally made her sneeze alot and gave me a headache...
the only difference i saw was that the doggy one dried faster, but i wasnt impressed with coverage and needed a couple of coats still...

ive found using the "quick set" spray (whcih is just clipper cool in a different bottle lol) on human nail polish works best...BUT probbaly not a good choice for a grooming place or somwhere that they might have to put them into a crate for drying time...i keep ruby on the counter after i do heres and wait for all paws to completly dry before setting her down.
