I will probably use the kirkland brand, but probably wet food. I use their dog food and like it (their canned isn't bad either, it's good for giving heartworm meds)
I don't know much about kitty litter other than whatever keeps the smell down works for me.  So whatever you are using is fine. If I find a need for a switch I can do that eventually. October sounds good, that gives me time to get things a kitty will need (like a litter box) and all that.

As far as Transport, Cheza is on the CO transport list and as far as I know, Zoom is still in the area as well as Cheetah so you could ask them.
