I love guinea pigs! I used to have a bunch when I was little. I had one agouti female (named Peanut) that gave birth to three babies- one was black and white (Midnight), one was cinnamon (Cinnamon), and the other was a palamino color (Blondie). All were girls.

I loved those little guys.

We also got a big black and yellow male one with swirles in his hair. He was the guinea pig equivelant of being neutered. We called him Spot. All of my guineas lived like 5 or 6 years, but I had to stop after the last one died. I had developed a severe allergy to them. I was heart broken when Midnight passed.

I miss those sweet little squeekers!!!!

We have had Guinea pigs for many years. We found our original three in the mountain reservation above our house when we were out walking our dog at the time, Deuce. someone had just dumped them in the woods.

Right now we only have the one, a male tri colored abby named Fluffy Buckley. He is three. Our last one died suddenly of unknown causes at only four years of age, but the one before that, Smudge, lived to be eight.
