Happy Birthday Rascal!
My little man is 5 today! Also, today marks the 3 year mark that I got him. These past 3 years have gone by so fast, it's all a blur!
Heading over to AllieMackie's in a bit, for the ferrets birthday party! (Palom and Porom's birthday was Canada Day, so it's a belated party for them)  We shall have lots of commemorative photos, posted sometime, most likely tomorrow!

I figure for Palom and Porom, it's more of a celebration of "gotcha day" - since we got them on September 10th or so.
 There will be party hats and cake.

Okay. We made hats. And cake. And got presents. It was awesome.
Rascal the birthday boy, in an orange hat.  The party guests.  The birthday cake... basically a duck soup recipe with thicker chicken. Ferret kibble, Wellness chicken, and Ferretone. Yum! Also, froggy candles. Just because.  Lit!  They liked it.  Porom's head is too small for her hat to stay on her head... it stayed on her neck.  Party games!  Palom! He's not terrified like he looks, I swear.  Rascal!  Porom princess!  -MORE-

 Palom doesn't want to watch.  Palom and Porom check out their birthday/gotcha gift - a new bed! Their old one dissolved in the wash, oops. This one is a bit ritzier.  Palom investigated further. We also got them some cute little mouse toys and put them in the bed.  He liked it too much to leave.  Porom decided to visit to taste Palom's party hat.  "Dis cozy. Thankoo."  "I'ma sit here and watch da partee."  Rascal decided to join in for snuggles. Bromance!  "Mum, there's a Rascal on me. I can't mooooove."

Snuggling with the bison that we got Rascal for his birthday.
 Yaaaawn  "Der's a froggy on my head." (Porom got tired of her party hat, so we gave it to the bison.)  Where was Porom during all this, you ask? She was off on an adventure.  Then she decided to be obnoxious. Rascal was offended.  The ferret body is actually Rascal's. Palom was buried under there. XD  Porom got leaves stuck in her harness, but we caught a very pretty photo of her anyway.  Jess and her birthday boy!  All done!
