Default Molly and the flying terror!

I had to take mom to the doctor, and King wanted to go too. It's like 90, so there's no way. He manages to get into the garage, and he's trying to get into the truck, and I grab his collar, and I'm not sure if I actually hurt him, or he just go scared, but he yelped, and was spooked everytime I tried to pet him for hours afterward. He finally forgave me after about 4 hours or so. The peanut butter pretzels finally cracked him..

Molly was acting weird all day. I don't know what started it, or why. Then to top it off, there's a huge Fly in the house. The fly is freaking her out, and she's running around, panting like hell. She used to try to catch them and eat them, but I think she must have been stung by one of the bees or hornets we have lots of around here.

So, I called the resident flycatcher, King, who was still a little bit upset with me, and got him started on it. All I have to do is say, "King, bug!" and he starts looking. When he has a job, he takes it seriously. a few minutes later, Molly comes flying down the hall, and King is right behind her, snapping up in the air. He just misses it several times. He finally sits down on the couch and just sits and waits. Moilly is totally freaked, running around and refusing to sit down, she's ignoring our calls to get her mind off the fly. Even food isn't working..

Finally, the fly screws up and he catches it, then spits it out. I don't think he likes the taste! It's hurt enough for me to catch and get rid of. He makes a couple of walks around the house, decides that there aren't any more flies, and passes out, dreaming almost instantly.

Molly was running around for quite a while afterward, but finally realizes that the horrible fly is gone, and goes to sleep. She's wiped out from all the stress. Killing a skunk, or a possum is no big deal, but a fly? The horror, the horror..
